An inflatable figure of Justice came to the center of the capital in Luxembourg
On Monday, a huge inflatable statue of Lady Justice appeared in Luxembourg's central Place d'Armes. It shows her kneeling and being stabbed in the back with a sword (also inflatable). The unusual installation is touring between cities and has not missed the capital of the Grand Duchy.
Designed to draw attention to issues of justice for those who have suffered human rights abuses, the composition bears a strong resemblance to the Statue of Liberty. Lady Justice came to Luxembourg on the initiative of the association Duty of Vigilance. It is composed of 17 civil society organizations.
The association calls on the future government, which is currently being formed, to pay attention to the protection of human rights and the removal of legal obstacles for those whose rights have been violated and who want justice.
