As part of the optimisation of the RGTR bus network in Luxembourg, timetable and route changes will come into effect from 15 December 2024. These measures aim to improve the quality of services, improve connections and take passenger needs into account.

Major changes

  1. Increase in bus capacity

On some routes, additional trips have been added and bus capacity has been increased. For example:

  2. Route optimisation

Line 551 (Thionville - Belval - Foetz) reduces travel time from 1 hour 20 minutes to 47 minutes, thanks to a route change that now includes P+R Thionville and surrounding communities.

  3. Flight synchronisation

On lines with shared route segments, such as 424, 911 and 802, the schedule is adjusted for uniform frequency.

  4. Changes to routes in Helperknapp municipality

Routes and terminals have been updated to improve safety and convenience for buses. The changes affect lines 822, 823, 932 and 941.

Details are available on the mobiliteit.lu website and app. In case of questions, passengers can contact the customer service team at 2465 2465.

The changes affect more than 50 lines, including new stops, route changes and improved connections to other modes of transport. Plan your journeys in advance!
