Those "taxmen" will leave you with no money

Scammers are sending official-looking letters on behalf of the Administration for Direct Contributions (ACD). These letters threaten to collect debts and demand urgent payment via specified details. The Luxembourg Ministry of Finance specifies that all information in such letters is fake, from bank accounts to contact details.

If you are a victim of or witness an attempted fraud, report it immediately to the nearest police station or to 113. Regional numbers are available for counselling and information verification:
