Attention drivers: closure of the N12 motorway in Reichlange in May due to the construction of the ring road

From 1 May 2025, from 22:00 and tentatively until 30 May, a section of the national road N12 ("rue de Saeul") in the Reichlange area will be completely closed. The reason is the construction of a new roundabout combining roads N12, N22 and N23. The works include the formation of a centre circle and the installation of traffic islands.
During the works, traffic on the approaches to the ring - N12 (rue de Bettborn), N22 (rue de Redange) and N23 (rue d'Ospern) - will be traffic light controlled, which could cause delays, especially during peak hours.
For a diversion, the authorities recommend using the route via Rippweiler-barrière, Useldange, the N24 road and then the N22. Additional signage will be installed at the approaches to the closed section.
Drivers are asked to be patient, plan their route in advance and follow temporary traffic patterns.
