Restrictions on train services in Luxembourg

CFL has announced that it has been forced to reduce the frequency of services on the section between Kautenbach and Wiltz. From Monday, the frequency of services has been halved: instead of the usual two trains per hour in each direction, only one train is now running. According to the updated timetable, trains depart from Kautenbach at 33 minutes past the hour, and from Wiltz at 16 minutes past the hour.
The reason for the timetable adjustment was a technical fault discovered at one of the civil engineering sites along the railway line. Maintenance teams are already working at the site of the fault, but the company is not yet able to estimate how long the repair work will take. In light of this situation, the operator advises passengers to check the latest timetable on the official website and via the CFL mobile app.
