Mental Health Weeks in Luxembourg will take place from 7 to 20 October 2024, under the slogan "Unlocking the potential of young people, shaping the future". The focus is on the mental health of children and young people. The event aims to raise awareness of mental disorders, the importance of healthy development from an early age and to strengthen cooperation among mental health organisations. Around 80 activities will take place during the programme, including the UNICEF #NetEleng online campaign, group classes on mindful drawing and a concert by Artists for Mental Health.

The association Pour une Parenthèse asbl is holding its first Elephant Run charity race in Luxembourg on 12 October 2024. The event includes a 60-kilometre race and conferences on the topic of paediatric palliative care. The aim of the race is to draw attention to the need for a holiday home for seriously ill children and young people in Luxembourg and to support those working in this field. Stephanie Rosken, co-founder of the association, will run all stages of the race to raise awareness of paediatric palliative care.

American rock singer and songwriter Alice Cooper will perform in Luxembourg on 12 October 2024 at 20:00 on the Rockhal stage in Esch-Belval. Cooper, known as the "architect of shock rock", has become famous for his theatrical and frightening performances that include electric chairs, guillotines and fake blood. His shows, inspired by horror films and variety shows, attract fans around the world.

On 13 October 2024 at 17:00 at St Martin's Church in Jungminster, the Chamber Orchestra of Luxembourg (OCL) will present a concert in collaboration with Les Amis de l'Orgue. Under the direction of conductor Piet Brosius and featuring organist Thomas Ospital, the concert will include the premiere of a work for organ and chamber orchestra specially written for this event by composer Ivan Bowman.
