Gast Michels exhibition-retrospective
«Gast Michels (1954-2013): movement in color, form and symbols» held at Cercle Cité will allow you to immerse yourself in the world of symbolism and secret messages left by the artist. This is the first extensive exhibition covering 30 years of the master’s work. In his paintings, filled with signs and symbols, everyone will find something of their own. Admission is free and the tours are in French and Luxembourgish. Check it out on October 14 from 12:30 to 13:30.
Maxima Squash Seminar
Halloween is just around the corner, right? It’s time to learn how to cook pumpkin dishes and carve out spooky faces! This seminar will help you master both on October 15. Make an amazing pumpkin risotto and take it with you to treat your friends! Venue: Canopy Garden, 4, rue Vauban, L-2663 Luxembourg. Time: 10:00. to 12:00 Saturday, October 15. Mudamini art class
Do you want to become an artist? Then you need to practice a lot. Luckily, this weekend Mudam’s monthly art class starts. A great way to learn the basics or practice already known techniques. Come to the Mudam Museum on October 15. Lessons will be held from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 14:30 to 16:30.
Game On festival
For adults and children from 6 years old. The largest game exhibition-fair will be held at Rotondes. Here you can not only get acquainted with the newest hits of the gaming industry, but also find classic and rare board and video games, and even participate in writing code for your own project. The entrance ticket costs 60 euros, the festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday at 3 place des Rotondes. Registration required!
Samuel’s Travels
Belgian film from 2021 that’s a thriller, a horror and a road movie at the same time. An amazingly rich and unpredictable picture that can be viewed at the Cinémathèque de la Ville de Luxembourg this Saturday, October 15. The showing starts at 20:00.
Glacismaart
Glacismaart is back in town! Don’t miss the monthly fair at one of the central squares of Luxembourg. The fair is open from 10:00 to 17:00 at Glacis Square. Here you can find, buy or sell goods for almost every taste: from farm products to antiques.
Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch
“The Play with the Ship” dates back to 1993 and since then it’s known to be an amazing and bewitching performance. People dance, draw strange mystical symbols in the air and definitely want to convey some message to the viewer. Can you catch it? Venue: Grand Théâtre de la Ville de Luxembourg. Time: Thursday, October 13 to Sunday, October 16. Entrance tickets from 8 to 25 euros.
