Job search digitized for refugees
The EU Talent Pool pilot project will help refugees look for work in the EU countries.
The new digital solution was launched on October 10. It is aimed primarily at people with temporary protection status. Now those who fled the war in Ukraine have the opportunity to upload their digital resume to a common database and look for an employer in the EU.
It’s worth noting that the project is open for every refugee including those Russian citizens who have left their homes. The application interface is available in 3 languages: English, Ukrainian and Russian. This is a gesture of solidarity with all refugees. Having a well-paid job guarantees financial independence and makes it possible to arrange life in a foreign country.
Resumes on the portal are completely anonymous to the employer. So the selection is based on workers’ skills, not background. However, it is worth noting that Luxembourg does not participate in this pilot talent pool program yet.
