Martine Deprez

Martine Deprez, born in 1969, is a Luxembourgish woman affiliated with the Christian Social People's Party (CSV). Initiated her secondary education at Lycée de Garçons in Luxembourg's capital, and pursued Mathematics at the University of Liege.

Upon completing her studies, Deprez returned to Luxembourg, joining the public service at the Social Security General Inspectorate. In 2002, she transitioned to become a mathematics teacher at the Ministry of National Education, Youth, and Social Affairs.

Notably, in 2012, she assumed the role of counselor in the Council of State, holding the position until November 2023, when she undertook the responsibilities of Minister of Health and Minister of Social Security in the Frieden-Bettel government.
