To be precise, Luxembourg exported goods worth 124 million euros to Canada last year. This is not to say that this is an unexpected boom: the volume has been growing for the past four years.

Exports to and imports from Canada are assisted by the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA). It came into force just five years ago. The agreement simplifies trade and cooperation between the EU countries and Canada.
