Fortuna Bank in Luxembourg ceases operations

This large financial institution has existed for more than a century, since 1920. Customers will be able to move to the state bank Spuerkeess.

For the last ten years, Fortuna Bank has been looking for a parent company or a partner bank. At first, the strict requirements of the shareholders interfered with this search. Then several promising deals fell through — for various reasons.

What will happen to clients who do not want to move to the Spuerkeess state bank? The management of Fortuna Bank has not yet answered this question.
