Luxinnovations summarizes the year's results

Franz Fayot, Minister of the Economy, and Sasha Baillie, CEO of Luxinnovation, presented the agency's 2022 report. Luxinnovation's mission is double: to help start-ups develop and implement technologies and to increase their competitiveness in the market.

In 2022, more than 210 companies participated in the programs IT 4 Digital, Fit 4 Innovation, and the new Fit 4 Sustainability. There is also a new component, the Fit 4 Innovation Healthtech Market. This program helps start-ups to develop and certify technologies in the medical field.

Luxinnovation helped 88 new companies apply for national grants and subsidies. The agency also helped researchers obtain more than 74.78 million euros from Horizon Europe, the EU's innovation program.

Luxembourg has positioned itself as Europe's innovation hub for years and has made significant efforts to maintain this status.
