On 20 March 2025 at 20:00, the CAPE Arts Centre in Ettelbruck invites the public to a unique stage event - a contemporary interpretation of Maurice Ravel's Daphnis et Chloé. This is not just a concert, but a complete stage performance combining solo piano and choreography.
Ravel's work, considered one of the greatest examples of French musical impressionism, will be performed in a solo piano version by the outstanding pianist Claire-Marie Le Guay. She will be joined on stage by dancers Constant Vigier, who also wrote the choreography, and Olivia Roach. Their duo will fill the space with visual movement, echoing the emotional and dramaturgical lines of the musical canvas.
The performance transforms a classical work into a live dialogue between sound and body, creating an atmosphere where every gesture and chord becomes part of a single narrative.
