The Zeltik Festival in Dudelange, a cultural tradition with almost 30 years of history, is once again bringing together fans of Celtic music from all over Luxembourg. This year, the Centre culturel de Dudelange will welcome artists from Ireland, Scotland and Brittany, and the programme promises a real musical trip.

"In the '90s, it all started under a tent with firemen, and now we're selling out the halls," Cliff Schmitt, the organisers' representative, proudly shares in an interview with L'Essentiel. While Saturday's shows are already sold out, there are still tickets left for Friday and Sunday. The poster includes the legendary Afro Celt Sound System and the new star of Irish indie rock, which is gathering full houses.

While Zeltik is playing at Dudelange, the Centre culturel de Cessange invites you to Céilí, a folk dance evening under the auspices of Comhaltas Luxembourg. "You don't need to know how to dance here - the main thing is to have fun," say the organisers. The programme spans afternoon classes for children and parties for adults, promising an atmosphere of friendship and joy typical of Irish festivals.

And, of course, there's no shortage of traditional Irish pubs, which will be pulsating to the rhythm of Celtic tunes all weekend long. Shamrock, Éirelux and Kantin will host live concerts, jam sessions and parties ranging from classic folk to fusion arrangements.

By the looks of it, Saint-Patrick 2025 will be the most colourful Celtic flash of the year in Luxembourg. From street reels to powerful guitar solos, the festival brings together generations, styles and languages under the green flag of music.
