There is joy at St George's International School as graduates have once again produced brilliant academic results. In 2025, almost half (46%) of A level final exams were graded at the top grade of A* or A, and 79% of papers were graded A to C*. This success has enabled 94% of graduates to guarantee places at the universities they originally chose.
The A level system is the final frontier of the British school curriculum, which covers the final two years of the curriculum (Years 12-13) and serves as a gateway to higher education. Pupils in the penultimate year take AS level examinations and pupils in Year 11 prepare through iGCSE to enter A level courses.
For secondary school principal, Claire Simmonds, the results were a testament to the perseverance and talent of the students and teachers. She congratulated the graduates and noted that "a new and exciting phase lies ahead".
