How much does a civil servant earn in Luxembourg
The Ministry of the Civil Service published a detailed document containing information on salaries and benefits on Wednesday, November 23. According to it, the average gross remuneration for a civil servant with the annual bonus taken into account amounted to 8688 euros. This also includes food allowances of 204 euros per month and a gross family allowance of almost 600 euros per month.
It is worth saying that half of the civil servants in the Grand Duchy receive family allowance. Also, employees of government agencies can take advantage of 232 various bonuses. Although the Ministry claims that the cost of allowances does not exceed 5% of the total salary fund.
