54 euros per square meter: renting an office in Luxembourg is getting more and more expensive
54 euros per square meter — that’s the price for renting office space in the center of Luxembourg. Offices in Kirchberg are slightly cheaper. They cost 42 euros per square meter monthly. Cloche d’Or shopping center’s square meters are in third place. Each costs 37 euros per month of rent. All these prices are record-breaking for the country.
In July, private equity firm CVC Capital Partners signed a lease on 3,000 square meters of space in central Luxembourg. The prices for these potential offices are still rising sharply with no end in sight.
However, the supply does not always match demand. Companies are looking for a modern and comfortable office space that will attract people despite telework availability. But there isn’t enough such space leasing currently in the of Luxembourg to satisfy the needs of all potential customers.
The cost of renting offices is also rising across the country. It isn’t unlikely, that each square meter rented outside of the capital will soon cost as much as 26 euros.
