The second half of the last winter month is full of interesting events and can bring fun for both adults and children.

Children's Day at the Zoo: February 15

Zoo d'Amnéville — is a zoo in the Moselle valley, located between Metz and the Luxembourg border. It offers unforgettable experiences for grown-ups and children. Around 1,500 animals of different species are living in the zoo. You could even take a part in a special party, so reserve your tickets via the website.

Dalheim walking tour: February 21

A 9.8-kilometer round-trip walk in the Dalheim is quite easy and will give you 2,5 hours of adventure for those interested in history and walking in beautiful places. The route passes the Roman baths and offers views of the Roman theater and the historic churches of St. Paul and St. Peter. Tickets are available on the website, where you can also find the route details.

Free tour in Echternach: February 26

On the occasion of International Guides' Day, the Tourist Office of the Müllertal is offering free guided tours on February 26. The main topic of the tour would be myths and legends of medieval times. The guides will share with you how the old Echternach was established: the story of the town around the walls of an abbey founded in 698 by the monk Willibrord, and where the tradition of the Echternach dance procession comes from.

The guided tour will continue for about 1 hour and will be held in Luxembourg/German language. The tour is suitable for anyone from 10 years old. The dance procession will start at 11:30 from the parking lot A Kack (rue du Pont) towards the church of Saint-Pierre et Paul. Admission is free, but seating is limited: register in advance by emailing info@mullerthal.lu.
