Government prepares new measures to battle the energy crisis
Energy Minister Claude Turmes has created plans to reduce energy consumption and switch to new energy sources. In addition to the previously announced support measures, clarifications were provided for the current policy.
The state still provides citizens with subsidies for the purchase of gas and wood pellets, encourages the use of electric vehicles and compensates the cost of fuel oil for companies.
However, in addition to this, some norms for construction are being introduced. So, from January 1, 2023, it will be mandatory for new buildings to use heat pumps for heating.
Solar panels are also not forgotten. Photovoltaics are developing so fast that the statr simply does not have time to process all applications. Also, the lowest VAT of only 3% is applied to new installations.
