Luxembourg airport is preparing for tourist flow

The New Year and Christmas celebrations have already proved a peak of tourist activity for Luxembourgers, as they are increasingly using the airport for their travels. In comparison to last year, which still had the echoes of covid restrictions, the number of bookings is growing significantly nowadays.

A new spike is expected on Friday, February 10, and the following holidays. The Carnaval au soleil will begin on February 11 and end on February 19. Tourist traffic during this period (both into the country and out of it) will be especially intense.

The most popular destinations for departures are the newly launched Dakar and Marrakech, as well as Cape Verde, Egypt, and the Canary Islands.
