Luxembourg has the lowest inflation for pizza and quiche

A whole study was conducted in order to find this out. The European agency Eurostat published it on the occasion of National Pizza Day.

In Luxembourg, the price of pizza and quiche increased by only 7% over the year. In terms of this indicator, it is equal to Switzerland and far below the pizza inflation of the rest of Europe. The EU average is 16%.

But despite the pleasant gastronomic news, the overall rate of inflation will still increase in 2024. This is the prediction made by the Statec. According to the agency, the annual rate in 2023 will remain at 3.4%, and in 2024 it will grow to 4.8%.
