Luxembourg creates an info resource for tenants

The Ministry of Housing and Mieterschutz Lëtzebuerg signed an agreement to create an information resource for tenants. The state will allocate 30 000 euros to cover part of the costs.

The consulting service will take on the following tasks:

• Legal consulting for tenants;
• Publication of a brochure with important information on the issue of rent;
• Development of an ASBL information site with accessible and understandable material;
• Creation of a rental market research report;
• Hardware and computer software necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the resource.

The agreement is valid until May 31, 2023. The main purpose of this kind of assistance is to increase the awareness of tenants about the current rules of the housing market and protection of their rights.
