Luxembourg will play one of the Euro 2024 playoff matches at its own stadium

On March 21, 2024, Luxembourg will play Georgia in the semifinals of the playoffs. In any case, the Red Lions must win two games: the first opponent is already known, and the second will be determined by the results of the second semifinal.

After the match against Georgia, the Grand Duchy will return to its home stadium. If the team wins, it will play the winner of the Kazakhstan-Greece match for a place at Euro 2024. If the Luxembourgians lose, a friendly match will be played at the Stade de Luxembourg, but the loser will already be in the same group. The match will take place on March 26, 2024, at 20:45, less than a week after the first semifinal.

No word yet on when tickets will go on sale or how many will be available. However, the Luxembourg Football Federation has assured that those who have purchased a season ticket for the five UEFA EURO 2024 qualifying matches will have an advantage.
