Luxemburg to present three movies at Berlinale

Luxembourg's Film Fund has submitted three films that will represent the country at the German festival.

The list includes pictures co-produced with France, Belgium, and other countries.

• Ingeborg Bachmann - Reise in die Wüste is a film about the Austrian writer Ingeborg Bachmann. In addition to Vicky Krips, the main actress, there will be a number of Luxembourg artists in supporting roles. Composer Andre Mergenthaler composed the music for the movie.
• The Siren is a full-length animated film that will open the "Panorama" section. Its character design, sets, animation, special effects, and more were produced in Luxembourg at Picture Factory Studios.
• A Greyhound of a Girl is another animated film, this time it is presented in Generation Kplus 2023 section. The list of countries involved in its creation is enormous. We can only wait to see if the result is worth the effort.

All participating movies will be supported directly by the Luxembourg Film Fund.
