New neighbourhood instead of a brewery in Diekirch

Luxembourg’s brewing history is giving way to the future. A new neighbourhoodwill replace the old workshops and machines.

The Dräieck Dikrech neighbourhood project includes living quarters, offices and shops. It consists of 6 sites with a total area of ​​25 000 square meters. The initial work is already well underway, but it will be completed only by March or April 2023. We are talking about the demolition of old buildings. The most difficult thing here is to dismantle and take out abandoned machinery.

The project is scheduled to be completed by 2027. It will have to not only provide a new future for the once abandoned territory, but also preserve the historically valuable buildings located nearby.
