Parliament to consider petition for financial support for low-income families

A petition in support of low-income families collected 4500 signatures required for consideration in Parliament. It asks to give parents a choice - to send their children to preschool education or receive monetary compensation and homeschool their kids.

Of course, in general, the petition is aimed at supporting all families and providing a wider choice in matters of education. But above all, it is necessary for those who lack money.

Now, poorer families often have no choice: it is too costly to educate and raise children at home at all times. In addition, this limits the ability of parents to work, which can easily worsen the family's already difficult financial situation.

Now the petition will be considered by the Parliament.

Also, 4500 Luxembourgers signed a petition to ban hunting raids in the country. Situations where wild animals are beaten while being driven towards the hunter is a mockery of nature, the authors of the petition say. And it seems that the people generally agree with them.

You can get acquainted with the currently active petitions and sign them online on the website of the Government.
