The state helps restore mental health after the pandemic quicker
The European Commission noted that the efforts of the authorities of the Grand Duchy to restore mental health of those in need of psychological help after COVID had a positive impact.
Today, on October 10, is World Mental Health Day. In a report timed to coincide with the date, the European Commission emphasized that Luxembourg has implemented support measures in all six prominent areas of public life: health, education, information, youth work, leisure and sports.
16 out of 27 EU countries consider youth psychological well-being a priority for governments. A similar opinion is shared in Luxembourg. Appearing in late April, a petition to include the services of a psychotherapist into the general insurance package quickly gained 4500 signatures.
