Watch a classic Hitchcock movie on the big screen

On August 12, the Cinémathèque will screen Alfred Hitchcock’s relatively obscure but nonetheless outstanding film, To Catch a Thief. A classic blend of romance and suspense. Cary Grant and Grace Kelly in the lead roles. This is a great retro choice for any movie lover. The screening starts at 19:00. Experience Luxembourgish hip hop at Lost Beach Club

On Friday, August 12, three young Luxembourg rappers will perform at the Lost Beach club. Their stage names are Sixo, Chapz and Brooze. Are you interested in contemporary music, regional bands and artists? This performance is definitely not to be missed. In addition to music and bright performances, the club promises free beer to all visitors. Performances will be held from 16:00 to 18:00, the ticket costs a little more than 5 euros. And for those who like the beach vibes of the club, Lost Beach invites you to continue the party on the night from Friday to Saturday.

Watch the annual meteor shower

Luxembourg has been hit by bright meteor showers this week. The particles of comet Swift-Tuttle will fall and burn over the Grand Duchy in a particularly spectacular fashion on the night of August 12-13.

Visit the antique market this weekend

At 8 am on Saturday, August 13, an antique market will open on the Place d’Armes. Take a stroll. Maybe you will like one of the curiosities that are sold from local stalls. Trading will last until 18:00.
