Yellow warning in Luxembourg

After a weekend of heavy snowfall and icy roads, as well as high winds on Monday that prompted nearly 400 emergency calls and felled 65 trees, the winter vagaries continue. MeteoLux has issued a "yellow" weather warning for the entire country for Wednesday evening.
According to the forecast, the snowfall will start around 16:00 and last until midnight. The expected amount of snow could range from 1 to 5 cm. However, forecasters emphasise that weather patterns remain highly variable, creating uncertainty in the exact amount of precipitation.
After strong winds caused numerous incidents and fallen trees, authorities and emergency services are preparing for another challenge. Luxembourg residents have already experienced the consequences of the drastic weather changes and must now be prepared for new challenging conditions on the roads.
MeteoLux promises to provide more accurate data in the next edition of the forecast, but the situation already calls for increased attention and caution on the part of drivers and pedestrians.
