On 11 December 2024, Luxembourg's Minister of Health and Social Protection, Martine Deprez, honoured the winners of the clinical research programme funded by the Ministry of Health. During the official ceremony, the 2022 and 2023 projects were presented and the new 2024 winners were announced.
The Minister emphasised the importance of clinical science to improve daily medical practice and ensure excellence in healthcare in Luxembourg.
Winners in the Research Physicians category
Dr Becker (CHL)
Hypercholesterolaemia and minimally invasive research projects in puberty.
Dr Carvalho Pereira (Rehazenter)
The spastiCRYO study - a study of peripheral nerve cryoneurolysis for the treatment of spasticity.
Dr Batista da Costa (HRS)
Molecular profiling of bladder and prostate cancer (MP-BPC).
Dr Gómez Bravo (CHNP)
FASTCOV project - exploring changes in patients with Long-Covid.
Dr Jouret (HRS)
An early phase study of Lu-PSMA for the treatment of prostate cancer.
