The annual Luxembourg Times BusinessRun corporate fun run took place in the capital

In 2026, the Luxembourg Times BusinessRun corporate race attracted around 8,000 participants representing 436 different companies. The sporting event started at the Coque complex, after which the runners completed a new five-kilometre route through Kirchberg. This event was not only a physical challenge but also a major fundraising initiative.

Under the race rules, 2 euros were donated to the non-profit organisation Fondation Cancer for each registration. However, thanks to additional charity initiatives organised around the tournament, the total amount raised reached €34,255. At the official cheque-presentation ceremony, the foundation’s director, Margot Heirendt, expressed her gratitude to the organisers, sponsors and all the corporate teams for their show of solidarity.

Representatives of the non-profit organisation emphasised that such projects play a key role in ensuring their smooth operation. The funding received will enable the foundation to continue fulfilling its core mission: raising public awareness, providing practical support to patients and funding specialist scientific research in the field of oncology.
