The government will spend €250,000 on digital inclusion
The Luxembourg Ministry of Digitalisation is continuing the implementation of the National Action Plan for Digital Inclusion and is launching the next phase of project funding for 2025. This initiative will support programmes aimed at improving digital literacy, motivation and user responsibility.
Main areas of the grant programme
Projects that encourage citizens' participation in the digital environment and develop their trust in technology are supported. Of particular interest are initiatives that:
- help people with no experience to master the digital environment,
- are trained in security and identity protection,
- strengthen media and information literacy,
- promote sustainable approaches to digital lifestyles.
The aim is to ensure access to knowledge for all categories of citizens. Attention is paid to projects that:
- organise decentralised courses and individual training,
- offer innovative approaches to digital skills training,
- adapt educational materials for different levels of training,
- promote requalification and the adoption of new technologies.
A budget of €250,000 has been allocated for the 2025-2026 projects, with a minimum funding amount of €5,000 per project. Previous calls for proposals have shown sustained interest: 18 projects have received grants since 2022.
Two online information sessions will take place:
- 16 December 2024 at 11:00 am,
- 14 January 2025 at 15:00.
Participants can apply until 14 February 2025. Registration for the sessions is conducted by email at info@zesummendigital.public.lu.
