Disruptions at technology giant OpenAI, which owns ChatGPT, began as early as the morning of 10 June. However, the main peak of the problems, according to numerous reports, occurred during the lunch break between 12 and 14 p.m. CET.
There are reports that the neural network performance problems have been observed for a week already, but they only took a serious turn today. In addition to the ChatGPT outage, there have also been issues with related services such as the Sora video generator and the OpenAI API.
According to the official OpenAI message, the root of the problem has already been found, and the developers are now actively working on fixing it. It is quite possible that the services will be restored by the end of the day.
