Rail services between Luxembourg and Belgium will once again be at risk: due to the announced strike on the Belgian railway SNCB, serious disruptions or reductions in the number of flights are possible from Sunday evening, 16 March, until the end of Monday, 17 March 2025, warn the CFL (Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois).
The final transport plan will be made public 24 hours before the strike starts so that passengers can adjust their routes in time. CFL recommends that all travellers follow the updates on the official website cfl.lu or mobile app.
It is not yet known how widespread the disruptions will be, but similar strikes in the past have led to dozens of flight cancellations and difficulties on border routes.
