33.7 — that’s how many hours of music will be played at the festival. The number is chosen on purpose: it’s exactly 2022 minutes.
The festival’s highlight is that the performance’s duration depends on the nationality of the performers. The larger the ethnic group, the longer its represented on stage. Thus, 33.7 represents nationalities in proportion. The organizers have also selected performers of different genders and ages — also for better representation.
Musicians perform on 10 stages. Some concerts will be held at the same time. Therefore, festival guests will have to draw up their own program. If you do not understand contemporary music, it doesn’t matter. Contact a consultant. They will tell you which songs will be played on every stage.
