Black Friday is in four days
Black Friday traditionally starts right after Thanksgiving. This year, the holiday falls on Thursday, November 23, so the sales will take place on November 25. Once a purely American idea, Black Friday became so popular that it quickly spread to other countries around the world.
Luxembourg is no exception, and Black Friday has probably been expected here since the beginning of November. After all, it is a good reason not only to buy that long-awaited update for your wardrobe, but also to choose gifts for yourself and your loved ones for the upcoming Christmas, and just to relax while shopping.
Even last year, despite the energy and financial crisis, the event was a great success. This year we can expect even more offers and excitement. Especially since the term "Black Friday" is no longer limited to a single day. Now, some sellers are organizing real marathons of discounts, offering shoppers almost interactive and unique deals.
Almost all retail outlets are preparing for discounts, which is not surprising because competitors will not waste time in vain. We should expect to see red price tags with 30, 50, and sometimes 70 percent off. It is better to look for individual offers on the official websites of manufacturers and sellers.
Black Friday is also a kind of bridge between summer and winter sales. The summer ones are already over and the winter ones are still far away. If we believe the official dates, the next discounts should be expected in the new year:
- Winter sales
- from Tuesday, January 2, 2024
- to Saturday, January 27, 2024, inclusive.
- Summer sales
- from Monday, June 24, 2024.
- to Saturday, July 20, 2024, inclusive.
In the context of discounts, it is also worth mentioning Cyber Monday. This is a relatively new phenomenon, but very much loved by many shoppers. The essence, as the name suggests, is special offers on appliances and gadgets. It is a paradise for geeks and those who have long been planning to upgrade their PC or look at a new phone.
