First weekend of October in Luxembourg is rich in events

Heritage days, workshops, games, campfire food and more this weekend.

European Heritage Days

This year the cultural days are dedicated to heritage and sustainable development. The event covers the whole country, so wherever you are, you can always sign up for a tour or a lecture or visit historical sites.

«Water’s Witness» exhibition

The exhibition is open until the beginning of March. Here the audiovisual creations of Tarek Atui are presented. In his works, the artist uses unique recording methods to convey the real atmosphere of port cities. You can admire the creativity at the Mudam Luxembourg.

Euro Birdwatch

You love birds? This one’s for you. On October 1 and 2, Natur&Ëmwelt will hold events in Remerschen and Münsbach. In Remerschen, a photo tour with a naturalist awaits you. In Münsbach there’ll be a full-fledged ornithological excursion. Don’t forget to wear warm clothes and sturdy shoes. Each event requires registration. See the website for details.

Family holiday at Kockelscheuer

«Green» festival, which will offer guests various outdoor activities, food cooked by the fire and excursions. You can attend a variety of master classes, or you can just enjoy your vacation. The entrance is free. Time: October 1 and 2, 13:00 to 18:00.

Ballet «Don Juan»

On October 1 and 2, witness the sensual and passionate story performed by the Luxembourg Ballet. Both eminent Luxembourg artists and masters from the National Opera of Ukraine will take part in the production. Tickets for the ballet can be bought from aggregators.
