Knights camp in Dudelange this weekend
Starting on September 10 and throughout the weekend, you’ll be able to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Middle Ages, try your hand at handicrafts and watch knights compete in jousting tournaments.
The medieval knight festival in Dudelange is considered by its organizers to be the most spectacular of its kind in the Greater Region. Having returned from a COVID vacation, it’s once again ready to open its tents for everyone. Throughout Saturday and Sunday, about 90 merchants and artisans, acrobats, musicians and, of course, the knights themselves will be waiting for guests.
Separately, it is worth highlighting the master classes. Guests can try their hand at making wool and candles, or even visit a real forge. But all this is just an aperitif before the grand show, which will begin on Saturday at 19:00. There will be an illuminated procession, various tournaments, and many other activities.
And don’t forget about the treats. Both taverns and more familiar to modern man tents with a grill, bakeries and pastry shops will open for guests.
Tickets for adults cost 9 euros, 7 euros with subsidies. Children under 12 can enter the festival for free.
