The Francophone music festival Francofolies will take place in Esch-sur-Alzette. Headliner Ninho will open the show, along with Tiakola, Luidji, La Fève, Luther, Baby Volcano, Maale Gars and Culture the Kid. The highlight of the program will be French DJ and producer David Guetta, with performances by L'Impératrice, Charlotte Cardin, Olivia Ruiz, Santa, Raphaël, Mentissa, Julien Granel, Colt, Foreigners, angel cara and Aleksand SAYA. The main program will take place in Gaalgebjerg Park, but some concerts will take place in the Kulturfabrik and the Escher Theater.

Artemysia Theatre Asbl has announced two English-language productions, "Long Laugh the King" and "The Sky above Luxembourg," to be performed at Neumünster Abbey on June 8 and 9. "The Sky above Luxembourg" presents audiences with a "celestial odyssey" where angels and mortals intertwine in an exploration of the human experience. Celestial beings attempt to understand the complexities of human existence, from intense passions to deep disappointments, from the pursuit of greatness to the desperate search for happiness and meaning.

On Saturday, June 8, 2024, Luxembourg, in collaboration with the cross-border network QuattroPole, will organize a musical event on the site of the former slaughterhouse in Hollerich from 15:30 to 20:00. Musical groups from Metz, Saarbrücken, Trier and Luxembourg will perform a diverse repertoire of classical music, jazz and other genres. This project is in addition to the tunes that will be played in the streets, squares and parks of the capital as part of the My Urban Piano art project until June 18, 2024.

Sake and the Association of Japan in Luxembourg have announced a tasting evening at the Carlitos Comedy Club. The event will feature renowned rakugo (Japanese theater genre) storyteller Katsura Sunshine and stand-up comedian Luca Cupani. The evening will include Japanese comic storytelling and a sake tasting led by sommelier Makiko Gröfin von Oberndorf. The ticket price includes unlimited sake, other drinks are available for a fee.
