Luxembourg culture program for March 3-6. Music, dancing and cinema

The first spring weekend will delight the residents of the Grand Duchy with a great experience — the largest film festival in the country. But there will also be other events, which we are eager to tell you about.

LuxFilmFest

Let's start with the centerpiece of our events program. The 13th film festival will run according to the standard schedule: 11 days for visitors to enjoy the exclusive screenings.

In 2022 Moviemakers magazine included the Luxembourg City Film Festival among the 25 best festivals in the world. This year the organizers do not intend to give up their position.

The festival will take place on March 2 to 12, in different locations around the city. The big program will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

Tramhaus

An exciting music band that emerged in the backdrop of endless quarantines and restrictions. The musicians position themselves as a post-punk project, but their music easily covers the range from the lyrics about unfair government to romantic ballads about the inner world of a person. The ticket price is up to 15 euros.

Xiexin Dance Theatre

A dance performance with choreography rooted in Chinese writing and calligraphy. This mysterious dance is based on the border of reality and abstract imagination, with the hieroglyph 人, meaning human, as a central piece. Like the two lines of this symbol, the dance will show us the meeting point of the opposites and the way to new horizons. The ticket price is up to 20 euros.
