Luxembourg welcomes 300 rescuer workers from around the world
72 rescue teams will come to the Grand Duchy to demonstrate their skills and dexterity.
The World Rescue Challenge 2022 competition will be held in Luxembourg on September 8-11. 72 squads from all over the world, including 7 Luxembourg teams, will be tested in two disciplines: Resque Challenge and Trauma Challenge. The purpose of the event is not only to identify the best team in the world, but also to help specialists from different countries exchange valuable experience. In the future, this will help them provide better and faster assistance to victims.
The competition will be held at the National Fire Rescue Center. Anyone can come cheer for the Grand Duchy teams. The entrance is free. Guests will be allowed to get acquainted with the life and work of rescuers. The final day of the competition happens to also be the 2nd National Civil Safety Day.
