The main spring events in Luxembourg: the main features and a brief summary

Finally, the dates of the Festival of British and Irish Cinema in Luxembourg have been announced: its spring edition will take place from February 26 to March 23. The program includes many films, such as the work of the famous comedy group "Monty Python and the Holy Grail", a great find for fans of British surreal humor; or the Irish film "Verdigris", which tells the story of a woman, Marian, who tries to fight for her happiness against all circumstances; and of course the traditional evening of short films.

According to the organizers, the festival program is dominated by female directors, and a total of 123 films from around the world will be shown. The Sundance festival sensation "The Outrun" by Nora Fingscheidt and Viggo Mortensen's "The Dead Don't Hurt" starring Vicky Krieps will be screened at the festival. The festival will close with "Love Lies Bleeding", starring Kristen Stewart.

The alcoholic amusement popular in America has not escaped Luxembourg. If you are confident not only in your accuracy, but also in your stamina (because every time the ball lands in the cup on your side, you have to drink), try to win the title of the best Beer Pong player in the Grand Duchy. The Art Fair, although only in its seventh year, has already become a good spring tradition in Luxembourg. This year, 80 galleries from Europe and the Grand Duchy, but also from all over the world, will be present. There will be more than 3,000 works of art from various disciplines: painting, photography or sculpture. For the comfort of the visitors, small food courts will be opened at the fair and musical accompaniment will be organized.

It seems that this festival of electronic music in Luxembourg does not need to be presented in any special way. Its spring concerts open the open-air season in the Grand Duchy and its fall shows close it. For the 12th time, residents and visitors to the Grand Duchy will be able to enjoy jazz artists from all over the world at the international festival Like a Jazz Machine. For five days, dozens of musicians and more than 20 jazz bands will be present: the program of the event will always surprise you! The famous ING Night Marathon is one of the biggest sporting events in Luxembourg. You can participate in several categories, such as the solo marathon, the team race or the half marathon. And if you just want to get into the atmosphere of such activities, go for the 5K Run For Success and special mini-marathons are prepared for the youngest (children up to 12 years).

This is the fourth time that this festival has taken place in Clair-Chêne Park. The best part is that there is something for everyone, as the organizers invite artists of different styles: you can listen to rock, pop, indie or underground artists. And all this in the midst of the stunning green landscapes of the natural park.

The festival with the romantic name will discover the beauty and richness of Luxembourg's gardens. This year's theme is "Five Senses in the Garden". As you stroll through the gardens, you will not only be able to enjoy the splendid landscapes and the skill of the florists, but you will also be able to listen to the music of the gardens, learn how these green corners of the Grand Duchy live, and immerse yourself in their history.
