On 27 March 2025, Eurostat, the statistical service of the European Union, presented an extended version of the interactive tool "My region", designed to analyse and compare socio-economic data of EU and European Free Trade Association (EFTA) regions. The new interface and functionality make this resource particularly useful for both specialists and the general public interested in regional statistics.

The main improvement concerns data visualisation - it is now more intuitive and flexible. The user can select a region of interest via a map or drop-down list, select indicators (e.g. employment, income, education level or demographics), and get a visual comparison with other European regions.

It is also possible to create individual factsheets with the required indicators - they can be saved, printed or sent by mail.

Special attention is paid to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) indicators. It is now possible to quickly see how EU regions are doing against the Sustainable Development Goals, which is particularly relevant in the context of EU climate and social policy.

The interface is available on the official Eurostat website and also includes feedback - users can share their opinions on the service.
