For Friday, the national meteorological service Meteolux has issued a yellow heat warning for the whole country. Between 13:00 and 19:00, temperatures will fluctuate between 30 and 33 °C, while thermometers may show up to 34 °C in urban areas. This is yet another episode of prolonged summer heat, which is testing not only the patience but also the health of residents.
Temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius increase the load on the cardiovascular system. For this reason, doctors recommend that on such days you should be especially careful to monitor your water balance, avoid direct sunlight during peak heat hours and choose light, breathable clothing.
The forecast for the weekend looks more gentle: on Saturday it is expected to be around 29 °C, with possible cloudiness in northern areas, but no precipitation is expected. On Sunday, temperatures will drop to 24-27 °C, and the day promises to be sunny and comfortable.
However, by the beginning of next week the heat may return - forecasters do not exclude that thermometer columns will again reach 30-degree mark, reminding that summer has not given up its positions yet.
