Residents of Luxembourg are invited to the official National Day ceremony in 2026

The Government of Luxembourg has announced that registration is now open for the official National Day ceremony, which will take place on 23 June 2026 at 10:00 at the Philharmonie Luxembourg.The event is traditionally dedicated to celebrating the birthday of His Royal Highness the Grand Duke. The ceremony will be attended by Their Royal Highnesses the Grand Duke and the Grand Duchess, members of parliament, members of the government, the State Council, representatives of the judiciary, the Luxembourg City Council, and the diplomatic corps accredited in the country. The Government invites all interested parties to attend the ceremony. However, places are limited, so invitations will be allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.&Registration will open on Tuesday, 9 June 2026, at 09:00 on the official government portal.Luxembourg’s National Day is celebrated annually on 23 June and is one of the country’s most important public holidays. On this day, official ceremonies, concerts, festive events and fireworks take place across the country. Those wishing to attend the official ceremony at the Philharmonie Luxembourg can apply via the government website as soon as registration opens.
