Over the last week, the number of confirmed influenza cases increased by 18%, from 1,377 to 1,626. The reported influenza A strains are dominated by A(H3) (56.8%) and A(H1)pdm9 (43.2%), while influenza B accounted for 26% of all analyses.

In addition to vaccination, it is important to follow simple but effective precautions:

  • Regular hand washing (30 seconds with soap and water);
  • Use of disposable handkerchiefs when coughing and sneezing;
  • Ventilation of the premises 3-4 times a day;
  • Avoiding crowded areas during the peak of the epidemic.

The number of cases associated with respiratory syncytial virus decreased by 13% over the week (204 vs. 235).

The number of COVID-19 cases decreased by 23% (94 to 72) during the week. However, effluent data show an increase in virus concentration, indicating possible latent spread. Among the coronavirus variants, XEC (46.5%) and KP.3 (40.2%) were predominant in November.
