On 1 May 2025, a new collective labour agreement between Orange Communications and employee representatives came into force. Signed by ALEBA, OGBL and the staff delegation, the convention is for three years and is the result of lengthy negotiations. Its aim is not only to maintain existing benefits but also to strengthen the culture of dialogue and cooperation within the company.
One notable achievement was the phased increase in the denomination of lunch vouchers: the first increase has already been implemented, with the next scheduled for 2026. Compensation for on-duty and on-call behaviour has also been increased. Employees will be able to count on additional days of leave in the event of PACS (civil union), the death of a child or when using care leave. In addition, everyone will receive a paid day per year to attend personal development training.
The company also rewards loyalty: gift cheques for length of service have been increased and there is a bonus for a successful recommendation of a candidate accepted for a permanent position. For the first time, the parameters of company cars have been formalised in the text of the convention, and the salary grid has been indexed and supplemented with new job levels. The employee development system is adapted to the latest directives of the Orange Group.
The parties also revised the charter on remote working and updated the Welcome Book, a handbook for new employees. The text of the agreement includes provisions for consultation, information exchange and joint decisions between management and staff representatives, making the dialogue within the company more structured.
The syndicates expressed their gratitude to both parties - the management and the staff delegation - for their constructive and productive approach. The new convention consolidates not only improvements in labour conditions, but also the company's course towards openness, engagement and sustainable HR policies.
