12 new charging stations to appear in Luxembourg

Electric vehicle charging stations will roll out at Delhaize locations next year. Charging stations near supermarkets are nothing new. However, Delhaize plans to install fast charging systems. So you can significantly replenish the batteries while shopping.

Installation of these new stations is scheduled for next year. All will be put into operation no later than 2024. Electra, the manufacturer of fast chargers, has already invested 100 million euros in the project. These systems are supposedly capable of replenishing up to 80% of the battery charge in 40 minutes. This is exactly the amount of time that shoppers spend in a supermarket on average.

Both partners hope that this will not only attract new customers to Delhaize, but also create a new convenient and reliable service for them.
