Apple season in Grevenmacher. When to collect free fruit

The apple festival, celebrated on the slopes of Steinsel, is approaching. At the end of September and beginning of October, local gardens will be open to everyone. Guests will be able to pick apples completely free of charge from 25 000 trees of 12 varieties. The gardens will be open on September 24-25, October 1-2 and 8-9 from 10 am to 6 pm.

Apple collection is not the only thing to entice guests here. You can also buy all kinds of apple products: from dried rings to fresh juice and even brandy.

There is a company in Eppeldorf that can squeeze the juice from the apples you pick. However, for this you will have to stock up at least 200 kg of fruit, and make sure they are all juicy. Or you can just buy juice on the spot.

Fans of cider and meditative contemplation of fruit trees should definitely visit the Ramborn company. It hosts regular tastings and guided tours of the traditional gardens.
