Findel airport will get its own fuel storage facility

In a few years, the airport will have its own jet fuel storage facility. This will reduce logistics costs and make Findel more adaptable to force majeure situations.

The decision to build a stand-alone fuel storage facility came about after a pipeline accident in Echternach this September. More than 30 000 liters of kerosene were lost due to the accidence.

This new additional storage will minimize the risks of aircraft not having enough supplies.
